Patoranking Wins Next Rated Artist and A New Ride [Photos]

Beverly Naya presented the winner for "The Next Rated" artist at this year's Headies Awards. Congratulations to the reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter Patrick Okorie who is known for his stage name Patoranking on winning The Headies 2014 "Next Rated" award category. Along with his well deserved trophy, Patoranking was also presented a Hyundai SUV.

While giving a speech during one of his 3 awards acceptance, Patoranking said “When I sang ‘When I moved from nothing to something, that is my story‘, I meant it. I would like to say something, 2 years ago, I was living in a one room apartment. Now,I’m livin somewhere around. If I tell you say I been dey sell rat killer, you go believe? If I tell you say I do bricklayer for Lagos you go believe? Don’t let anyone stop you from achieving your dreams,”. From Grace to glory, it was a speech I believe a lot of people can relate to.
