LEAKED: Listen To Goodluck Jonathan’s Congratulatory Call To Gen. Muhammadu Buhari

Much Respect to Goodluck Jonathan on calling Nigeria elect President, Muhammadu Buhari on winning the 2015 Presidential elections.

The conversation between the two parties was a short one but with so much humility.

CELEBRATION! Muhammadu Buhari, President Elect of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria

The above picture was taken when Buhari received a phone call from Goodluck Jonathan congratulating him on being elected as President of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria. It is a big day for Nigerians everywhere because a new president has been elected. We are ready for a change!

VOTE HERE! Who Will Be the Next President of Nigeria in 2015?

The world's most supreme elections held today (3.28.2015) and it's set to continue tomorrow with tensed and anticipated polls.

Accroding to Naij, "The PDP has consistently declared that its presidential candidate, Dr Goodluck Jonathan, would be re-elected for second term on the back of his performance and the premise that the party has a wide spread.

The PDP national chairman, Dr Adamu Mu’azu, at a press conference said the election is beyond propaganda and empty claims in the social media but performance, sincerity of purpose and commitment.

The APC presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, believes that his brightest chance ever for the top-job after 2003, 2007 and 2011, is now.

He spoke at the Seventh Bola Tinubu Colloquium to mark the former Lagos State governor’s 63rd birthday.

When Gen. Buhari who was praised by all the speakers took over the podium, he expressed his appreciation to party leaders and members, saying, “I’m confident of victory.”

He said though the process was awash with money, he was coming into today’s election with hope, “because if I could win the primaries without spending money, I will certainly win on Saturday”.

Gen. Buhari admitted that this election is his first genuine attempt to aspire to becoming the president, alluding to the possibility that the journey would end at the State House. He said, “In the previous attempts, I only ended up at the Supreme Court.”

Moreover, the reality remains how the political parties, candidates and leaders are able to galvanise their faithful to ensure the polity, although heated, does not implode after the elections.

The massive exchange of hate speeches by both parties seems to have choked out space for constructive engagement and much more, set a dangerous tone going into this election.

Beyond the famous peace accord signed by the presidential candidates, the hues and cries by the international community and concerned elders under the national peace committee appears not to be making the needed impact.

However, the role of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC, is crucial. It’s ability to ensure the card readers and permanent voter’s cards work; deploy materials on time and address all perceptions of partisanship.

Also, the role of security personnel will be crucial in the face of the heated campaigns. Perceptions or actions that portray partisanship pose a threat to the polls, just failure to proactively address security threats will impinge on the process.

Nevertheless, the Inspector General of Police, Suleman Abba, has warned that the police would deal decisively with persons who cause trouble on the Election Day.

A social analyst, Comrade Nosa Ighosa, said as much as this election could serve as a turning point in the political history of Nigeria, it is crucial that the momentum of viable opposition be sustained in the interest of Nigeria.

“If nothing, the emergence of the APC has given an alternative thereby opening up the political space for richer debates and engagements. Although we did not see much of issue-based campaigns this time, we can hope that in future engagements, no party will take Nigerians for granted,” he stated.

However, a legal practitioner and political analyst, Maxwell Obiekwe, doesn’t share such optimism. He expressed concern over the ability of the political class to sustain a viable opposition in the face of a political system that has little or no ideological base.

“As much as I want to be happy with what we are experiencing today, I pray and hope that after the polls, no matter the party that wins, we won’t see politicians moving to the ruling party because that is the typical Nigerian politician for you,” he posited."

We're all anticipating the final result on who will be the next President of Nigeria. Cast your vote below on who should win this election.

Don’t trust Obasanjo, Fayose Tells Nigerians

Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has described the declaration of support for the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) by former President Olusegun Obasanjo as a political somersault.
Ayo Fayose

The Governor asked Nigerians to ignore Obasanjo because he was more of a liability than a gain in the ongoing political scenario.

He asked if Obasanjo had any electoral value as a politician since he had been consistently defeated by the opposition parties in his own place before and after he left office as the President of the country.

Fayose, who spoke through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Idowu Adelusi, in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday, said Obasanjo’s endorsement of Buhari had clearly shown that he had lost wisdom.

He said, “Leaving President Jonathan and vote for Buhari is like to abandon the road and enter the bush. God forbid we enter the forest which we may not come out from for years.

“How can you follow somebody who because of old age is senile, but being propelled by his followers to fly the plane at all cost. Won’t that plane crash?”

The governor said only gullible minds will obey his call that Buhari should be voted for‎ saying that Obasanjo should not be trusted for anything.

According to him, anybody that follows the word of Obasanjo is doing so at his own peril because the former President is no more in tune with modernity.
