Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj's 'Feeling Myself' Official Music Video (Sort Of)

I know you all are dying to see this video but sorry, it's only available on TIDAL which I haven’t subscribed to (have you subcribed?).

Looks like Jay-Z is trying to draw more people to his streaming service Tidal with this video because we all want to see it. I mean it's Beyonce and Nicki Minaj acting silly, how hot is that?

"A few brave souls have successfully leaked the video on YouTube, though it appears that the power couple's spies are taking them down left and right.
But, despite the content being taken down, we can still give you a rundown on what shenanigans Bey and Nic get up to in the vid, which is basically just a lot of laughter, consumption of cheeseburgers and some twerking thrown in (naturally)."

For those of you that subscribed to Tidal, enjoy watching it there and for the rest of us... We will wait till it reaches the mass (lol).

Beyoncé and Rihanna's Fans Come for Ciara

She has sold 23m records, toured with Britney Spears, and been for dinner at the White House – so why isn’t she a household name? The Atlantan singer-songwriter reveals why she’s not as big as Rihanna – yet.

According to Ciara in a recent interview;
“You know what I think?” she asks, rhetorically. “Everything’s about timing. I’ve had records just as big as those artists, I’ve had No 1 songs around the world. My biggest competition is me.” That and her old label, perhaps. After Basic Instinct only reached No 44, she left LaFace/Jive, announcing on Facebook that they had not supported her enough. Her next album, Ciara, released on Epic, duly went to No 2. “There’s no doubt in my mind how high up this train can go,” she says calmly. “I faced those challenges. I don’t see myself beneath Beyoncé and Jay Z; I don’t see myself above them. I’m in my own world, hungry to grow."
“Mommyhood” has revived Ciara’s drive. She says she’s “super thrilled” about her impending first headline tour in six years, no nerves in sight. “I’m gonna keep it real here,” she belly-laughs. “I gained 60lbs [during pregnancy]. I ate everything. Quesadillas, Cheesecake Factory, strawberry lemonade. I tell every mom to take advantage of that; eat all the foods you want. Then, when it’s time to get to business,” she clicks her fingers, “snap in to it. I was like a zombie robot, then I got a new level of confidence. Five months and I was back swinging.”
She’s looking beyond the album-tour-album cycle now, though. “I don’t know if I’ll still be doing music 20 years from now. It’s the foundation of my business, but I want to be a successful entrepreneur. I know I’m gonna be it.” Then she delivers her killer blow. “I’m on videotape aged 17 at high school graduation saying: ‘I’m gonna have a No 1 song in the Billboard chart and sell 3m copies of my debut album.’ One year later I had a No 1 song in the Billboard chart for eight weeks” – well, seven – “and I sold 5m copies of my debut. Now I’m on this next chapter in my life and I can assure you: give me 10 years, it’s gonna be great. I believe it.”
Although I don't see anything wrong with Ciara's statements, a whole lot of people hated it. Beyonce and Rihanna's fans joined forces to bully Ciara on her social media accounts by spamming her comment box with emoji's representing both artist.

Read Tina Knowles Heartfelt Letter to Beyoncé, Solange, Angie Beyince and Kelly Rowland

Mother's Day is on Sunday and TIME magazine asked a few influential mothers to write open letters to their children. Although Tina Knowles gave birth to only two (Beyoncé and Solange), she considers Kelly Rowland and niece Angie Beyince as her own.
"For Beyoncé, she acknowledged her compassion, generosity, and humility, while she admired her youngest daughter Solange for being a “rebel warrior.” As for Kelly, who is celebrating her first Mother’s Day this year, she recognized her kindness and loyalty."

Rihanna, Kim Kardashian and Beyoncé Shuts Down the Met Gala

IMG_2213-0

Its that time of the year again at the Met Gala where celebrities show off their creativity. And as we have all come to know, nobody does it like Rihanna! The pop superstar arrived at the 2015 Met Gala in an over-the-top Guo Pei ensemble. Kim Kardashian  stepped out on the red carpet in a sheer Roberto Cavalli gown with fringe at the bottom. Beyonce goes nuge in this black and purple sheer Givenchy dress with similar fringe elements to the Met Ball back in 2012.

Beyoncé, Was That A Shade Towards Kim Kardashian?

Celebrities throw shades all the time but when Queen Bey does it, it's a big deal. I am sure you're aware that Kanye West debuted his Adidas collection a couple days ago (click here in case you missed it) and although that created alot of buzz, what was also buzzing is the image above. It was cool and all that Beyonce sat next to Kim Kardashian but when Beyonce uploaded the above photo on her Instagram page, people began to read a deeper meaning to her caption (as always). Continue reading to see why people felt that Beyonce's caption was a shade towards Kim.
"The Deliberation: Look, while I have my suspicions, I don't know for sure how Beyoncé feels about Kim Kardashian. Moves like this, however, do not help the case against the idea that Beyoncé cannot stand this woman. This truly is a PhD-level display of shadiness. I'm inclined to hand over my robes and call it a career because I'm so moved by Beyoncé's ability to send the clearest of messages with so little effort that all the work I've done in the world of shade seems trivial. We'll just assume that Beyoncé doesn't feel the need to identify herself because, duh. Then, we have a picture of three people, one of which is an omnipresent figure that doesn't need to be called out by name, and two others. Beyoncé only bothers identifying one of those people. Of course everyone knows who Kim is, but hell, we know who North is also. Beyoncé isn't identifying her for clarification—she's letting you know that she's only interested in North. Let's also note that North isn't even paying attention in this picture. She looks adorable because she's an adorable baby, but this isn't the best shot of her. So to pick a picture where this woman's baby isn't even looking at the camera and then to go out of her away to only mention the baby? Does anyone else need a sweater?  The brilliance here is that how could Kim argue this? She can't get mad at Beyoncé for calling her daughter beautiful. She'll look like she's jealous of her baby if she asks why her name wasn't included. And she'll look super childish if she makes a big deal about an Instagram post. It seems that Beyoncé is totally just fucking with Kim's desperation for relevance and recognition by denying her both. Bow down to your queen."  - Written By: Kara Brown

Beyonce Reveals Behind-The-Scene Message to her "Take My Hand, Precious Lord" Performance

Beyoncé Reveals Political Message Behind

Who knew the song had a deeper meaning to it. Beyoncé has shared a behind-the-scenes video that shows the singer rehearsing last night's performance of the gospel standard "Take My Hand, Precious Lord" at the Grammys. The clip features Beyoncé talking about the genesis of the performance and why she chose the all-male choir.

On Her Back Up Singers:

I wanted to find real men that have lived, have struggled, cried and have a light and a spirit about them," said Beyoncé. "I felt like this is be an opportunity to show the strength and vulnerability in black men.

On her Connection to the song:
My grandparents marched with Dr. King, and my father was part of the first generation of black men that attended an all-white school," Beyoncé adds. "My father has grown up with a lot of trauma from those experiences. I feel like now I can sing for his pain, I can sing for my grandparents' pain. I can sing for some of the families that have lost their sons.

The members of the choir talk about the importance of the performance in the face of Ferguson, Eric Garner, and the debate around police brutality. I believe it is the perfect song for black history month.
