WizKid Live in Houston Texas w/ Emma Nyra & KCEE (Photos + Video)

Wizkid arrived in Houston, TX on Wednesday (May 6th) for the industry nite. The Starboy Entertainment boss performed several of his hit songs and even performed some songs twice. Several fans flew from Maryland, Atlanta, Dallas, Newyork and so forth to be a part of this event which took place during Houston's Offshore Technology Conference week. 

According to Golden Icons, It is safe to say that WizKid is one of the most loved current Nigerian entertainers and one of the best Live-Band performers too. Houston witnessed yet another sold-out, fun-filled and sensational concert as Industry Nite presented WizKid during the peak of the 2015 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) week. There were several events going on in Houston at the same time, and it really didn’t stop WizKids fans from turning en masse to watch his performance.

Prior to the day of the show, there were doubts on whether the expected number of fans that WizKid rightfully deserve in Houston will turn up at the event due to the numerous OTC events happening on the same day. We cannot but remember other A-list artists coming to Houston in the past during this same OTC period, and the turn-out was awful. So after this concert, WizKid has turned us here at Golden Icons into a confirmed believer, that his fans would ignore all the FREE Oil and Gas parties in Houston, and pay top dollars to watch him perform.

Wizkid also touched on how he started from nothing to where he is today, as he sang the acappella to one of his hit records. KCEE, the Limpopo / Pull Over crooner also made a surprise guest appearance to WOW the crowd, and it was just a great night, while Emma Nyra also performed on stage with Wiz Kid.. Another Beef! Wizkid is Just Pissing Everyone Off

Looks like Wizkid rubs people off the wrong way. Just this year alone, there has been multiple accusations against the 'Caro' and 'Top of your matter' Afrobeat artist. At first it was the Wizkid versus Davido feud in which Wizkid apparently sent a subliminal message to Davido via instagram with a caption "Thank you so much New York!!! Amazing show last night. Big up @wale and @akon for showing me love. Proper show. Proper venue. Boys talk. Men walk!”. With this caption, fans quickly spotted a beef and wanted answers which were later answered on the Olisa Adibua's show "The Truth" by both parties (click here). 

Secondly, Samklef came out in an interview stating that he is fed up of Wizkid spoiling his brand. He said, "The reason I don’t like him [Wizkid] anymore is, why do you go about spoiling other people’s business? I never spoiled your business, never came out to say anything bad about you for four years. So why would you go to an OAP and tell the OAP that the reason why you no longer work with me is because my beat is amateur" (click here). 

Thirdly, Saeon stated that Wizkid charged her #1.5million to feature on her song "Boogie Down" and he didn't even help her promote the song when it released (click here). 

Is Wizkid a trouble maker? Well, Wizkid has fallen out with yet another producer. In an interaction with his fans on Twitter, top Nigerian music producer Sarz aka BeatsBySarz mentioned that he no longer has time for Wizkid and how Tuface begged him to produce the new Hennessy Artistry new theme. Wizkid Speaks on Samklef and Saeon's Allegations [Video]

We informed you some days ago about Samklef's Interview and his feelings towards Wizkid messing up his brand. In regards to Samklef's accusations, Wizkid said in a recent interview that "I got love for Samklef all day. He is the type of person that even if he hurts me I can't get mad, that's how much I got love for the guy". Another artist that was brought into this issue is Nigerian artist Saeon, who stated that Wizkid charged her #1.5million  to feature on her song "Boogie Down" and he didn't even help her promote the song when it released. In this exclusive interview with TVC E, Wizkid responded to female singer Saeon stating that "I gave her a hit song and that is what she was looking for, didn't I try?". He went ahead with 'We are not friends, I don't know her, I gave her discount, like 10% discount".

The disagreement between WizKid and Samklef has fans asking questions. People have been reaching out to artist asking them how much Wizkid charged them for a track. In an interview with Linda Ikeji, SamKlef speaks out on his feelings towards WizKid's public diss at him and how he feels about it. Samklef produced several of Wizkid's hit songs so we understand why he might feel a certain way towards Wizkid spoiling his brand.

“I’m not happy with Wizkid. I like his music, but I don’t like him as a person anymore. The reason I don’t like him anymore is, why do you go about spoiling other people’s business?
