Did Linda Ikeji Purposely Delete Her Blog for Publicity?

Celebrities do this all the time, they fake a story to sell an album or simply for publicity so why can’t bloggers do it too? I know the headline is a bit harsh but the story is questionable. Well, maybe it's what I think and I might not have valid evidence but I think if we use our common sense, we'll see that the story doesn't add up.

First of all, who is Mr. Aye Dee? I am sure most of you didn’t even know who this man was before this whole Linda Ikeji saga, right? Linda mentioned in an article that she  titled “Between Linda Ikeji and Mr Aye Dee. The real shocking story” that she and Aye Dee became good friends over the internet after he acknowledged her work and told her he was proud of her.

“By 2011, Alex 1976AD and I became quite close…online. We even exchanged numbers and spoke a few times. He always reminded me how proud of me he was. He told me I would one day become a phenomenon. I wasn’t number one at the time but he told me that I would one day be the biggest news site in Nigeria…that he believed in me that much. He was my friend, my supporter; he sent me news to post on my blog. He wanted me to succeed. He told me things to do to get more readers. He knew a lot about the internet and how it works so I always went to him for advice. He was my anchor.

Linda apparently ignored Mr. Ayee for two years stating that she didn't see his emails or communications. This is the hardest one to believe because as a blogger, you read every email because “exclusive” news can come in any form or angle. After two years of Linda saying she never saw Mr. Dee’s messages; she all of a sudden started getting his messages?
Linda then went on to posting her interactions with Mr. Dee to prove her point that he was pretty much “obsessed” with her and that is why he went ahead and contacted Google to delete her account. Now I don’t know about you but based on research, I do not think that an individual can contact Google directly informing them to delete another individual’s account without “factual” evidence. I might be wrong but maybe Mr. Dee works for Google? (ha!).

Another thing to look at in this “Saga” is soon after Linda found out her old friend is the same person behind her account being deleted, she stopped sharing the munch screen images and instead she said I will copy and paste the convo from here on because it's quite long. Linda Ikeji is – me: Alex Info 1976AD/Mr Aye Dee is – info.
Why would you rather type out a full length conversation when you can continue to support your evidence by munch screening?

From Linda:
“info: I assumed you knew and were just forming
me:  are u for real or ur just messing with me???
me: u are aye dee?
me: the person I thought respected me the most?
info:  I do
me:  u gave me woman of the year
info: Yes
me:  are u for real?
info:  that is why I was confused when I sent messages and you ignored all of them
info: I was like what have I done to this woman
info: I have helped all I can
info: and now she is doing like I am a non-existing entity because of a simple request
me:  are u for real though???
 info:  100%

me:  my heart is beating so fast”

I guess typing out their conversation is proof? (oh!). The Linda we know & love [:)] does a lot of copying and pasting but all of a sudden she is writing a book? And how is it that soon after this event, she is now recruiting for photographers and reporters after all these years of blogging by herself? Coincidental or not?

What people do for attention these days is beyond me. Have anyone thought to ask Linda for the interaction with Mr. Dee and Google or an email from Google to support her claims. But I’m guessing people are so busy welcoming Linda back that they didn't really read that book she called evidence (lol). Now I do not dislike Linda as I am also a blogger who feeds off some of her contents & also have emailed her exclusive information in the past but I am just tired of people being “thirsty”. Blogging is supposed to be informative and instructive but people have made it a way to destroy and tarnish others or to simply make themselves look good.

I am also wondering how come the guy’s name is saved as “Aye Dee” on her phone when she mentioned that she didn't know it was him. But then you guys know how technology is, she probably saved his number back in “2013” and didn't realize in 2014 that it was the same person (I’m being sarcastic here). I guess Mr. Dee doesn't have any other pictures either? (Abi?)

Last but not the least (depending on if you’re someone who likes to read between the lines). How is it that the same picture Linda used when she first blogged about this issue titled “To the guys that want to take down LIB, here's a message to you” is the same picture she used on her latest post “Between Linda Ikeji and Mr Aye Dee. The realshocking story”. I am guessing she doesn't know what her long time friend looks like? (Oh, okay).

I am not sure about you but if Google can easily delete your account then why would you still remain on Google’s platform and not create your own website, after all she is making money from blogging. At the end of the day Aye Dee got fame and Linda got more exposure (she was trending in Lagos). So it is a win-win situation, any intelligent and focused blogger will clearly see the big picture. Congrats to both of them, GOOD ONE!

Love it or hate it but I call BullShxt, we are not all gullible!
