According to sources, "An explosion suspected to be a bomb, on Wednesday rocked the Federal College of Education in Kano.   Residents of Kabuga area, the host community of the institution told journalists of the blast and sporadic gunshots in the vicinity resulting in pandemonium as students and residents scampered to safety while shop owners hurriedly locked up their shops.Daily Sun learnt that armed security personnel have been deployed to the college''.
