Dolapo Ogunlabi #1 Trending Topic is Alive

Dolapo Ogunlabi is an artist and photographer based in Nigeria. He is currently the #1 trending topic because earlier today someone claiming to be his sister  took to twitter to announce that Dolapo slept and didn't wake up. Although there were no other sources to support this claim, people were quick to believe it based on Dolapo's latest tweets. Five hours or so before this young lady broke the news, Dolapo tweeted 'Nap time' and prior to his last tweet he has been saying a lot of things that can serve as suicidal warning signs. He made statements like "Pray like it will be your last", "Happiness should be meeting God after years of separation", "I'm tired. I'm f*cking tired, i thought i just needed a night sleep but its more that that", and the one that really caught my attention is "Dead people receive more flowers than the living ones because the regret is stronger than gratitude". A lot of people started showing their gratitude through prayers even though there were no real sources to prove that he is really dead. About 9 hours later, the young lady who made the announcement took to twitter to say that her account was hacked and Dolapo is alive. Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the United states and this should be a lesson to everyone. If someone is acting depressed, troubled, hopeless or lonely, reach out to them immediately because you never really know.
